A Little About Me
Ok, so maybe it will be a little about me, maybe it won't. I am just making this site to basically post pictures and to kind of keep things cataloged. So I suppose there has to be a little about me in with it.
But for now, the little (bit) about me is as follows. I don't consider myself to be the typical gal. Although some might. I think that I have very different opinions about how the world should work than most people, and I wish that our part of the world could be introduced to the possibility of life without so many of the things we think we need.
I used to be one of those people who thought you had to work yourself crazy in order to get the things that are fabled to make us happy, but in the process I have learned that it just makes you want more and more. It is a viciously evil cycle.
I have now learned that often times the things we truly desire are the things we take for granted. Our family, friends, nature and adventure. All of which can come at the low cost of...let's say... FREE! (well, I do have to admit it can be quite expensive for the adventure part, but you can make it as expensive, or cheap as you want!) I have lost some people in my life that I truly miss, and I can never change the times I passed up to work instead of making time for friends and family.
So back to not being the typical gal. I am not high maintenance. I don't really care about having a nice car (especially if I haven't earned it...I'm not going to live off of Mommy and Daddy, as some of my generation has so disgracefully done). I haven't gotten my "hair did" in a few years, it does what it wants most of the time, and I love it's natural color! Never dyed or fried it! I enjoy watching a sports event from time to time, although I enjoy it more when I'm there in the action. TV announcers bother me. TV itself bugs me. Why would I want to pay 50+ dollars a month to watch commercials for things I do not want nor do I need? I understand that commercials were created to fund the television stations and programs, but with each household paying such an ungodly amount each month I don't see why commercials have gotten to be half of the show time. I'll stay away from that topic for now...
Not sure what else to say, if you're here to read about me; Welcome, and hope I can give you something to laugh about, if you're here to see my life through my camera lens; I hope you enjoy looking at all the wonderful things that I've seen. And if you're here to read some of my poetry; I'm sorry, but you probably shouldn't. It's rough. heh.
Ta ta for now...
