Sunday was such a lovely day- Jon thinks I am silly for all the time I spend on the computer but I want to remember these days...always.
Yesterday we went through all of our presents. we are staying up on the top floor, and were not looking forward to lugging all the packages up the stairs, when I had an idea: I had my portable grocery basket, so I took the belt from our robes, tied them together, and tied them to the basket, then my new Darling Husband just had to carry them from the car to the edge of the house, and load the basket....and there you have it! An easier way to bring the gifts to us! We brought in all the gifts organized them and then went out for dinner in Wimberley.
We went to Inoz...it was kind of late and NOTHING was open in Wimberely on sunday...it was good. And a couple drinks and a good Chicken Fried Steak later....we went back. Turned on Romancing the Stones and opened all of our wonderful gifts and cards. We actually had to turn the movie off while we were opening...the cards were all so moving and we read each and every one to each other. After relaxing in the jacuzzi we put the movie back on and enjoyed the calm before the storm... no not a real storm....I'm talking the storm that would be the next day...Jon hadn't finished packing and we still had to make sure everything was set up for Shiloh while we were away. I made Jon a Hubby do List for this morning, and we slept well at Creekhaven for our Last Night there... time to meet his family and take all of our stuff back down. Thank goodness I used my brain to make the departure easier than it could have been! Wish us luck!
