Thursday i am going to see an orthopedic specialist in Austin. We'll see. I have my x-rays and hopefully he will tell me that i am on the right path to recovery. if not...well we'll just deal with them apples when we have to.
I had the nicest encounter with a stranger this evening. I was going to get a movie for Jon and me and was getting some things for Shiloh. He lost his first tooth today!!! Yay! A big boy now! Well I was struggling with the items and this lady comes over and offers help. She asked what I did, and I told her the short version. She just kinda shook her head and said that I was lucky that's all that happened. I laughed and said it was pretty bad and she replied "well sugar, you still have your arm and I pray that you always have that special someone to take care of you when you're in need" I had told her how much Jon has been helping me and taking care of me. So we talked a bit, and I have to say just talking with her made me realize that yeah, this is pretty bad, but I am lucky a car didn't also run over my legs that were out in the street, or worse i could have hit my head again and had amnesia again. It is funny how just the simplest conversation can help a person out.
